We have 35+ employees across Hungary, the U.S., and worldwide.

We are currently looking for candidates located in the U.S., preferably in ET time zone.

Our growth is top-tier and almost all of it comes from existing customer expansion. It’s time to start building a GTM function and we’re starting with our current bottleneck: the pipeline. We’re looking for highly ambitious salespeople who can help us remove this bottleneck by getting in front of the leadership of the top 10,000 Shopify stores.

Why are we looking for a Head of Growth now?

Today, our SMS product is growing fast (~10% MoM), however, most of our growth is coming from existing customers. Revenue from new customers has to ramp up. Our sales, partnerships, and success processes look healthy:

  • 37% Demo Held to Closed Won CR,
  • 68% trial to paid CR
  • 148% Net Retention Rate (account expansion is amazing, merchants use more than what they initially sign up for)

We grow 10%+ MoM but 75% of the new revenue comes from existing customers expanding. This has to change, we need to build a pipeline and acquire new customers.

The position

We are looking for a Head of Growth to get us to $20m ARR by building a revenue engine that covers the full customer lifecycle, from lead generation to expansion.

As the Head of Growth at Recart, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and executing strategies for Recart’s demand and revenue generation channels. Working closely with the CEO, you will own pipeline targets and implement tactics that resonate with our ideal customer profile. You will drive our demand generation engine, nurture our community, manage strategic partnerships, and enhance our social media presence. By building and refining our campaign strategy, you will play a key role in establishing growth as a core competency at Recart.

What will you do?

  • Build and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies to drive a robust pipeline of high-intent leads and customers through multiple channels.
  • Own the creation, execution, and analysis of Recart’s growth initiatives.
  • Develop and manage Recart’s brand marketing efforts to enhance brand awareness and positioning - we’re building something very new and exciting!
  • Develop a scalable, strategic social media presence with engaging content that builds our brand.
  • Collaborate closely with the product team to bring new products to market and manage strategic GTM initiatives.
  • Build competitive playbooks that position Recart as the #1 leader in our category.
  • Manage agency partnerships, syndicate relationships, and related tech vendors to support our marketing initiatives.
  • Proactively partner with leaders in sales development, marketing, and customer success.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of GTM professionals.

Your profile

  • 3+ years of experience in technology marketing, preferably within a B2B SaaS context.
  • Proven success in launching and managing marketing campaigns that drive pipeline and growth results.
  • Strong familiarity with HubSpot, Google Analytics, social media platforms, or similar systems.
  • Ability to leverage data and analytics to drive marketing strategies and decisions.
  • Must-have experience in ecommerce or martech.

Nice to Have

  • Management experience with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Experience with retention (email & SMS) marketing
  • Proven ability to influence product development and roadmap priorities based on community and market feedback, ensuring the product aligns with customer needs.
  • Background in project management with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Your OKRs for H2 2024

  • Generate $2m in new ARR, closed by the sales and success teams (new biz/expansion).
  • Make Recart a well-known brand that Shopify marketers trust. Tell the story of why text marketing is a must-have in their stack and how they can use sophisticated automation and segmented campaigns to add +19% revenue to their revenue flow while providing an excellent experience to subscribers.
  • Build a marketing engine for merchants that lets them know about the problem/opportunity, turns them into leads, then opportunities, and helps the Success team with expansion.
  • Clearly explain to our audience what's the ROI of using Recart. Especially what the impact of using text on marketing results (OR, CTR, AOV, CPC)
