What's the opportunity?

  • We're looking for an Office & Operations Manager to join our fast-growing tech startup and take the lead on running our Budapest HQ and strengthening the heartbeat of our team: our community. You'll be an integral member of our Operations team, working closely with our Head of Operations and collaborating with HR and Finance.
  • This is not your average office job. You’ll be juggling everything from facility management and team experiences to special projects and supporting global teammates. You'll help ensure that everyone (on-site or remote) has the tools, environment, and energy to thrive at Recart.

What will you do?

Office & operations
  • Own all things related to our Budapest office: logistics, tools, snacks, equipment, etc.
  • Manage office vendors, cleaning, deliveries, access systems, and office tools (from coffee to cables)
  • Handle pre-accounting tasks: collect receipts, upload invoices, manage small-scale expense tracking
  • Assist with admin tasks: contracts, access to systems (Google, Notion, Slack, 1Password)
  • Coordinate onboarding/offboarding from the physical tools and systems perspective
Culture & people experience
  • Plan and execute regular team events, both in-person and online (monthly, quarterly, ad hoc)
  • Organize travel & logistics for global gatherings, team offsites, and conferences
  • Support new hires: welcome kits, workspace setup, travel bookings
  • Keep our Notion knowledge base up to date and organized
  • Support well-being and engagement initiatives: ENPS, mental health month, trainings
Projects & ad hoc tasks
  • Take part in special projects with Ops: e.g., office redesign, legal admin, internal coordination
  • Occasionally support the HR and Ops team on internal initiatives and process rollouts
  • Help with travel and logistics for executives (e.g., conferences in the US, UK, Canada)

Who are we looking for?

There’s no need for a specific background in office management. What matters is potential, drive, and mindset. We’re replicating a great success story: our current Office Manager, came in with little prior experience but has built Recart’s office culture from the ground up. She's staying until the end of the year to support onboarding.

  • You’re naturally empathetic and detail-oriented
  • You like solving small daily puzzles and keeping things running smoothly for others
